Frequently Asked Questions

Will you travel out of state?

We'd love to film your wedding wherever it takes place and do our best to make it affordable for you.

When should we expect our DVDs to be ready?

Under normal circumstances your DVDs will ship out in 6 – 8 weeks. We strive to provide you with some of the fastest turnaround times compared to other videographers.

How do I know how many hours of coverage I should get?

Usually your coordinator or DJ will provide an itinerary outlining a timeframe of your events. The duration of coverage depends on what events you want captured on film. Filming begins at the specified arrival time and is based on continuous hours on the clock. Many couples find a 6 – 8 hour package sufficient to capture everything from getting ready, the ceremony, and a good portion of the reception. It works well to plan the main events such as first dances, cake cutting, and the bouquet / garter toss towards the beginning of your reception so it will fit into your coverage hours.

My Ceremony and Reception are at separate locations. Does this travel time get included in my coverage hours?

No. Your coverage hours would stop and begin again once we start filming at the reception. Please note this is the only instance we will offer a start / stop recording option.

How do you work with the photographer?

We film in an unobtrusive ‘behind the scenes’ manner and are very conscious of staying out of your photographer’s way. The last thing any couple wants is to see their videographer or photographer in all of their pictures or scenes in their video. We always do our best to coordinate with your photographer(s) to ensure great results from both ends. It seems that every photographer we have worked with has commented to us that we were some of the easiest videographers to work with. We film as low key as possible while still capturing every detail of your special day.

What do you wear?

We have white or blue polo shirts with our logo that we wear with black slacks.

Will you film guest interviews during our reception?

We’d be more than happy to film guest interviews at your request at no additional charge. We carry along a handheld wireless microphone just for this occasion.

I have a photo montage on DVD. Can I add that to my video?

Yes, we have done this many times in the past. All we need is the DVD with the photo montage and we'd be happy to add it to the menu screen of your final DVD at no extra charge.

How do I reserve a date?

We require a 15% deposit to hold your wedding date. The remaining balance is due on or before your wedding. If your deposit is made by credit card, the remaining balance will be charged to your account one week prior to your wedding, unless you’d like to use a different form of payment.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept payments via cash, checks, credit, and debit cards. We also offer convenient payment plans to help make our services more affordable.

What pictures do you use for our DVD cover?

We use still frames from your wedding footage. Occasionally brides will send us digital pictures from their photographer. (Click here for examples) Beth and Kevin’s DVD is an example of pictures used from their photographer, whereas the DVD case insert shown at the bottom of this page was created with our footage.
